As a penangite, i would recommend anyone who craving penang assam laksa to come here and give it a try. The taste is not overwhelmed and quite balanced. The ingredients taste fresh and very packed in the bowl. Prawn paste also didnt taste too heavy or smelly, it is more to sweet side. Back in penang, i dont even order with prawn paste. Even tho i ordered small but definitely bigger than small portion back in penang. Nasi lemak rice is way fragrance than most of the branded nasi lemak shops out thr. Sambal is more to chinese style, that has anchovies and not spicy.

A cosy cafe that serves a deliciously authentic Sarawak laksa and delicious Assam laksa with big fish chunks. Amazing service from the beautiful cafe owner. Will be back to try its famous beef noodle and nasi lemak.

Love the food here and service quality is a delight. Across 2 visits with a few dining companions, tried the following and all were excellent! * Sarawak Laksa - One of the best broths I have had with this dish. Full of quality spices and extremely well balanced flavours. Noodles have food bite and toppings all tasty. * Kolo Mee - A friend had this and said it tasted true to the flavours of the best he has tried in Sarawak. * Assam/Penang Laksa - once again, an excellent broth. Was told that they do not use sugar but get the sweetness from the use of pineapples. It has a delicious umami quality. * Sourdough with Chicken Curry - Outstanding curry chicken. There is not coconut santan used. Again, you can taste the complexity of a well balanced and extensive spice recipe being utilised. The sourdough had a good sour taste which is usually an indicator that the dough has been allowed to ferment for a good period. Had a few sips of the chendol here. Heavenly Gula Malacca - again, quality of the ingredient shines through. Delicious finish to any meal.

Quintessential home kitchen cafe with years of Sarawak culinary tradition gained in Miri. Lady boss has put in lots of passion in honing her broad culinary skills from sourdough sandwiches to Assam Laksa and a beef broth with daikon, reminiscent of my mum's cooking as a base to a bowl of homemade noodles ala Kolok style. Her sweet adventures has created a robust homemade cendol and a range of cakes, including burnt cheesecake. A busy team of 4 persons man the small busy home kitchen and customers need patience just as mum will expect it.

Caught up with friends at a Sarawakian cafe. The mee kolo was tasty and the laksa was great. The pandan cake was moist and paired superbly with coffee

Nice and cozy environment. Owner is super friendly and kind. Authentic menu from all over Malaysia. Especially Sarawak Laksa, Beef Noodle, Assam Laksa, Kolok Mee... There's a reason why there's lots of Sarawak dishes here too. Come check it out. Met some nearby neighborhood customers coming here often and some even just drop by again the same day for the dessert ; home baked cakes! Will definitely come again !!!

We actually enjoyed everything we ordered here. Sarawak laksa and kolo mee were good. That explains the crowd at this place whenever we pass by. Lady boss was friendly and went to check on each table. Good spot for a quick and casual dining in the mall.
